Just one year ago, I took over as Executive Director of our Worthington Area Chamber and it’s hard to believe all we’ve achieved in such a short time thanks to your support. In a year focused on having our Chamber thrive post COVID-19, we were able to:
- Reignite three special interest networks with Women’s Business Network, Young Professionals of Worthington and Small Business Network. Together these groups hosted a total of 18 events.
- Reengage with the business community through meet up events, Discovery 315 calls and more to ensure our Chamber is focused on the needs of our area businesses.
- Bring back events…well, nearly all events. Through volunteer committees we hosted Reds, Whites & Desserts, Old Worthington Market Day and many more.
- Increase our communication of valuable information for you and your team. Through monthly emails, business-focused video series and Chamber Chats w/ Matt, we’re providing more ways, across all platforms, to promote business throughout greater Worthington.
And to think, this all happened during six months of a mask mandate and while managing the implementation of a more efficient database and enhanced website.
