Celebrating Women Business Owners: Amy Bauman
Meet Amy! Amy Bauman is the founder of Your Development Resource where she helps teach entrepreneurs how to gain confidence in their businesses and achieve their goals faster and more efficiently. In Amy’s business, she hosts three different programs that help people overcome fears, self-doubt, or mental blocks that stop one from achieving their goals.
The first program Amy offers is a Women’s Group program. “Learn. Connect. Support.” is for women in business to come together and openly discuss their ongoing achievements and struggles that come from their businesses but also be able to walk away from the meeting with real advice and support from other group members.
“Each woman brings their own authenticity to every meeting,” Amy said. “We show up and share our wins and challenges. Then we can circle the wagon and help one another work on those challenges.”
Amy’s second program for her clients include 1 on 1 private coaching for personal and professional growth. Amy offers a 12-week/session package after one free development consultation call.
The last program Amy offers is an online program, SuccessPod. Amy’s online program starts with an eight-week very hands on group coaching to develop an action plan with goals and strategies. After those eight weeks, Amy provides another six months of support to check in with the clients plan and focuses to make sure they stay on track.
As a woman business leader, Amy has realized it sometimes just takes that one push to start a dream. “Just do it. The best way to learn what you need is to just do it, because you may never know,” Amy admitted. “If you’re waiting until you’re ready, you never will, so I always just say to jump in and you’ll start figuring it out on the way.”
Amy loves helping people professionally and personally with their goals and doesn’t plan on stopping until her “hidden gem” in Columbus turns into a place where every woman in business knows that there are resources for help.
October is National Women’s Small Business Month and the Worthington Area Chamber, along with our Women's Business Network, is recognizing and celebrating women business leaders like Amy. We strive to provide a platform to elevate and empower all women business leaders not just this month, but all year long through development luncheons and networking opportunities.
