The Businessperson of the Year is back in 2023 and will honor its first businessperson since 2020. Now, through Friday, February 10 you may nominate a deserving businessperson or nominate yourself for this honor.
Since 1987, the Worthington Area Chamber’s Businessperson of the Year Award has recognized the business leader or organization within the Chamber membership who demonstrates successful and innovative business practices, along with a mission deeply rooted in impacting the Worthington Area to become a better place to work, live and do business.
Selected by a committee of past award recipients, this award truly embodies all things Worthington. Whose leadership in their business and in our community makes greater Worthington a better place to live, work and do business.
The person selected for this award will be honored at the Chamber’s Annual Membership Luncheon & Awards Ceremony on Thursday, March 9 at 11:15 a.m. The honoree will be promoted throughout the months ahead in many ways from social media to special Chamber events to being the Chairperson for the selection committee of next year’s award. This honoree will also be expected to leave a legacy that lives beyond the title of Businessperson of the Year as we look to have a greater impact within our community and local workforce.
