As of Friday, March 3, the Worthington Area Chamber is moving and will no longer be located within the AAA building, 90 E. Wilson Bridge Rd., Ste. 100.
A full sublease of the Chamber office will be in place for a growing Worthington business to move into.
"This move signifies a great day for our Chamber," says Matt Lofy, Executive Director of the Worthington Area Chamber. "The decision to downsize speeds up our recovery from the challenges of the past few years and positions us to better serve our business community."
Moving forward, the Chamber will follow a hybrid model while taking residence within COhatch - The Hardware Store, 659 High St., Worthington, 43085.
The office will be fully remote on Mondays and Fridays, and available at COhatch Tuesday through Thursday. It is highly recommended to call or email ahead to ensure someone will be available to meet.
"We love our office that we've called home since 2017, but the reality is we are a much smaller team and up against different circumstances now," says Lofy. "This was a priority set by our Board upon my hiring and one that as of March 6 begins a new chapter in our Chamber's story."
Community Shred Days will still be held the first Wednesday of each month from 90 E. Wilson Bridge and private drop-offs will be available on limited days and times throughout the month, but must be scheduled in advance. Regular Chamber meetings once located within the office will be hosted at COhatch or within meeting spaces throughout greater Worthington. Please, consult the Chamber event calendar for specific locations.
