Ever wondered how a community thrives?
It's not just about having good infrastructure or vibrant events—it's about having strong leaders at the helm. Investing in local leadership is an investment in the heart and soul of our community.
The Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce, along with civic, business and nonprofit partners, is committed to investing in our local leaders through a program called Leadership Worthington. Leadership Worthington is a 7-month leadership development program designed to support established and emerging leaders in Worthington who are interested in getting involved and giving back to the community. Participants will organize Service Day, get involved in local student mentorship, and learn about the various organizations and resources available in Worthington.
It all starts with our first Leadership Worthington class, launching in October 2024, but this program is a long-term investment in the Worthington community. Strong leaders have a vision for what their community can become and know how to get others on board. They can turn ideas into action, whether it's boosting local businesses, advocating for schools, or making sure green spaces stay green. Our aim is to develop, inspire, and connect leaders to drive positive change in the Worthington community.
When strong leaders are developed and embedded in the community, you're not just improving things for today—you're setting up your community for success in the future. These leaders become the backbone of local institutions, ensuring that progress keeps rolling even as challenges come and go.
By supporting Leadership Worthington, we’re not just investing in individuals—we’re investing in the fabric of our community. And that's something we can all celebrate.
